wedding video/still fusion of creative chaos

So after a long hard thought and a slumber of what i should blog about, it came to me in a dream. I just so happen to have a new little unique wedding video/slideshow business starting up as of late and I figure a blog can be a perfect place for people to go and look at some videos I have made and get excited for their own video still fusion movie that will be a memory refresher for the rest of their lives. So get excited to see this idea blossom into a fortune 500 company and a place where precious moments can be remembered forever.

  1. Cool! I hope this goes somewhere for you! I've been wanting to start a wedding videography biz as well. I paid these two guys to only shoot my wedding and not do any editing. The reason I paid someone to shoot it was for the HD cameras that I can't afford. They would have charged $1000 to shoot 3 hours on two HD cameras and edit it, but I said "hey! how about you shoot it and give me the raw footage all for $300" (their editing work was AWFUL). The biggest problem with me editing it was that I was busy and didn't get it done for just under two years. But the video is awesome along with the DVD content, so it was definitely the right move. Anyway, best of luck to ya, it's a tough business to get started in!

  2. Good luck with this man! I have another friend who is trying to start a wedding video business and he's looking like he'll hopefully make some good money. Getting a good customer base to start out seems to be the biggest challenge. one thing to consider is that a lot of small businesses could use videos for promotions. I think there is an untapped market for making mini-commercials for people.
